Novatel Wireless module

Tue May 23, 2000 - 10:29 AM EDT - By James Hromadka

PC World has an article on the Pocket PC going wireless with, ironically enough, this blurb near the bottom of the article:
"Microsoft isn't the only handheld platform with wireless access in mind. Novatel already offers a $329 wireless modem for the Palm III, and in August the company expects to ship a $369 modem for the color Palm IIIc and a $329 springboard add-on for the Handspring Visor."
The Novatel product for the Palm III that is mentioned is the Minstrel, which allows a Palm III user to connect to the Internet. You may remember the recent news story on GoAmerica's Go.Web module for the Visor. Finally wireless is coming.

If only the Astros were doing better I might actually want to check the score every few minutes. Oh well, there's always e-mail. Post your comments about the Novatel module here in the Springboard Module Discussion Area. Thanks to Hoser_in_USA for the link.
