Fri Jan 19, 2001 - 4:19 PM EST - By James Hromadka

MDS Holdings, the distributor in Central Europe for the Handspring Visor, will order from Paragon Software localization solutions for twelve European languages that will be used in all Visor models. The twelve languages are Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Turkish, and Ukranian. From the press release:
The solutions will be developed being based on new PiLoc 2.0 localization technologies that enables new features like Targus Portable Keyboard support and automatic start of localization program after system reset. Full interface localization programs that will be developed by Paragon Software (MCD) will include FULL Handspring Visor interface translation to national language. It means that all menus, icons, system alerts are translated to national language.
Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian and Turkish localization programs will be released by the end of January, when MDS holdings will begin distributing Visors in those companies with the PiLoc national language system.

Soon all languages will be able to enjoy the Visor! Thanks to Maurice Maltbia for the news.
