It's slim and affordable
All I wanted was a case that would protect the Visor screen when it was in my pocket. I would have continued to use the clip on cover, if it wasn't so difficult to use regularly. A flip over cover, i.e. Palm III, would have been perfect for me, but that wasn't an option. In comes the Slim Leather case. I wish it didn't have the Velcro, but I can live with it. Other wise the case is great. As one user noted, you can flip the cover all the way back, and fasten it to the Velcro for regular use. As far as the card slots, well I don't use it to hold my cards, but it held several receipts without any problems. A bonus.

Pretty good
This is a great little case, but if you want to permanently replace your wallet look elsewhere.

Easier to handle than the provided slip case
Like some other reviewer said, when using the provided slip case and hard cover, it can be a real hassle to use the Visor, especially when having other things in your hands. With this case just flip it open and you are ready. Looks professional, it is small enough to fit in your pocket and makes your Visor more available.

Simple, Elegant, Quality!
Yes, I've read those other people's comments about "too tight" and "not enough room for lots of credit cards" and other "wallet" things. It makes me wonder how they define the word "SLIM" as in slim case? I ordered mine because I wanted exactly that...SLIM...as in not big or bulky...as in simple. This case holds my Visor, a dozen business cards and a few receipts and can still fit in my pocket. If you want something that will hold lots of junk, then order the appropriate case like those other people obviously did not have the foresight to do. As for the case itself, it is very handsome and holds my Visor securely. The leather, stitching and craftsmanship are of high quality. It even has that nice new-leather smell. Yes, I would have preferred a nice brass snap instead of the Velcro, but I'm not complaining...The overall quality of this case makes it easy to overlook that mild shortcoming. (Besides, the Velcro won't scratch the Visor's screen if the cover is accidentally closed on top of the strap.) The price is not cheap, but not expensive either. For the quality, I think it's worth the price.

Other reviews sum it up, but not worth $25+S&H
Yes, its too tight, but I think the leather will stretch. Yes, there could be more card slots. Yes, the velcro reminds me of my shoes when I was a kid (in the 80's) But assess your needs... this case does what its supposed to do... let you get by with just a few cards, maybe stuff a twenty in there, and then goto the corner market or walk around the office, without lugging around a wallet. My wallet is huge, and I know it just looks horrible when i put it in my suit's pants pocket. But is it worth $25+ ? I dont think so? Maybe 10-15, 20 max, but 25 $ is just Handspring betting that people will buy this case because every other case on the market requires the use of velcro (icky!) and their cases don't. My primary concern is not accidental power up, or the "spot" on the screen where the velcro closes, but rather the contact between the exposed cards in the slot and the screen/plastic molding of the visor. Especially with the case so tight. There are two solutions to solving the tightness problem with the case. One is to width-en the spine. The other is to move the card slots further to the left (when its open). When the slots are stuffed, then closing the case pushes the cards against the visor, and there isn't enuff slack in the spine to accomodate the extra 1/8" of height to accomodate for the cards (its like sticking a pencil deep into the first page of a hardcover book... try to close the cover and it will be rather futile and destructive... Anyways, if you move the cards to the left, then you remove the stuffing from the left side of the visor molding, and closing the visor would probably be pretty easy.

Fits like a glove!
The Slim Leather Case does exactly what it's supposed to: cushion the Visor from unneccessary shock. It's not designed to withstand a 5-ft. drop, but it does add some padding in the front & back as well das extra material around the edges to act as a "bumper." I've had no problems with the case and I'm glad I paid for it! Actually, it's been dropped onto a concrete slab floor once and there was no noticable damage to the Visor itself. The impact caused the retention clip to pop out a bit, but the Visor was still held inside. Sliding the Visor to the left/right caused the clip to re-seat itself and everything was as good as new. If you're looking for something small, classy, and you're not expecting to be in the position to drop it from high heights, then this is the case for you!

Too small to be useful
I received my case free, and after one day of use, I've had to retire it. The front of the case closes onto the front of the Visor, so it is constantly being turned on. The pockets are all too small to really be of any use and the velcro strap just seems tacky...

Too Tight!
It's too small to be practical enough for modules...find something else!
