Trio Stylus

Fri Aug 18, 2000 - 9:55 AM EDT - By Aaron Hebeisen

For almost 2 months now, I have been in love with my graphite Handspring Visor Deluxe! If you have one of these PDAs, you are probably thinking about replacing the stock stylus. The PDA Panache Trio is for those who want it all. The Trio Stylus is a three tip writing instrument manufactured by PDA Panache. It is constructed in metal with a black rubberized finger grip area. The size and weight resembles that of a quality ballpoint pen.

The Trio Stylus houses a black ballpoint pen, 0.5mm pencil and stylus. The three different types of writing instruments are selected based on how the Trio Stylus is held. Simply face the right symbol towards you and press the top-button. Black dot for pen, red dot for stylus, .5mm symbol for pencil. To release your choice, press the button on pocket clip for easy storage. Much like a quality .5mm pencil, the Trio Stylus includes a handy eraser hidden under the top-cap.

The Trio Stylus writes as well as any typical ballpoint pen. The stylus is PDA Panache orange, which makes it easy to tell which tip you have extended. I really like the stylus tip. It is smooth and very easy to write with. To replace a refill, simply unscrew the lower barrel, pull out the empty and insert a new one. The PDA Panache Trio stylus point is covered by a manufacturer’s lifetime tip repair warranty.
