EU maps for Quo Vadis

Fri Mar 9, 2001 - 5:18 PM EST - By James Hromadka

Marcosoft will soon be releasing European maps for its Quo Vadis software. Quo Vadis is a standalone mapping software that can also be used with any NMEA-compliant GPS module (such as the Magellan GPS Companion). The database includes the following countries:
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Denmark
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy (Including Vatican & San Marino)
  • Luxembourg
  • Portugal
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland (including Liechtenstein)
  • The Netherlands
The Europe library has ~36000 "street-level" maps for 572MB. The current US library has approx 23000 maps for 330MB. I don't have pricing information yet, but the maps can soon be downloaded from Marcosoft's website.
