As reported earlier, Palm is working on a MyPalm service that will allow users to update their calendars and other info. Turns out that Dominic Hulewicz already had the mypalm.com domain name and Palm fired off a letter to him, demanding the domain.
C|Net is reporting that Hulewicz and Palm are coming to an agreement so that Hulewicz can still use the domain name for his email account and visitors to mypalm.com will be redirected to Palm's website, which is what I think Palm should have tried in the first place.
Just for grins, a quick glance at myvisor.com shows that it's already taken by HostIQ. I've read that almost all of the words in the English dictionary have been registered as domain names. With prefixes like "e" "my" & "i" becoming popular, how long until someone registers all 26 letter combinations for common words? Sigh. Discuss your thoughts here.
