Handspring has released a USB Registry Utility that helps Windows 98/Me/2000 users troubleshoot and issues with the initial USB synchronization.
This is only for issues with the first HotSync where a USB port is enumerated incorrectly. Click here to download the utility. Make sure you read the complete directions before running the utility.
