Trade-up to FlashPlus

Tue Oct 15, 2002 - 10:22 AM EDT - By Marcus Adolfsson

Matchbook Products, maker of the first commercially-available compactflash adapter for the Visor PDA, today announced that they have re-introduced their popular trade-in program. The trade-in program allows owners of non-plug-and-play adapters to move up to the FlashPlus adapter at a significant savings.

The current retail cost for the FlashPlus is $39 plus $5 shipping and handling, for a total of $44. If you have a non-plug-and-play adapter to trade in, you can purchase a FlashPlus for $25 plus $5 shipping and handling, a savings of $14. More information is available here.

Keith Hudson, owner of Matchbook Products, said "By adding easy, inexpensive memory expansion through the use a FlashPlus adapter, many current Visor PDA owners will be able to continue using their current Visor PDA for another year or two, allowing them to wait for another generation of PDA's to come out before spending several hundred dollars on an upgrade."
