The ICU charger makes keeping your PDA powered simpler, and also lowers the "cost of living".
Because the ICU charger lets you have easy access to the Visor’s batteries (in the form of the open contacts) I strongly recommend this to the experienced user, or to someone who wants to have fun. Unluckily, because of its lack of informative documentation, it is not as good for somebody who is new to computers, or the handheld world.
If you do a quick comparison of the ICU charger to the Fullcharge, the Fullcharge has a lower initial price.
However, you will have to replace the NiMH batteries every year and that the FullCharge batteries are about $20 each,
so the ICU comes out on the top in the long run. Also, the ICU Digital comes with both an AC and DC
charger in the standard package. The comparable Fullcharge package is more than
double the price.
Overall, this kind of accessory is one of the must haves for people who heavily use their Visor’s.
