Applications that are processor intensive will benefit from a faster processor.

Applications where a large number of records are accessed will benefit from a faster processor.
For example, performing an address sort on a large database of addresses, performing a find in the Address Book with a large number of records, deleting an application, are all faster.
Viewing an ActiveSky video, for example, results in more realistic full motion video. And for playing graphic intensive games, such as Zap!2000, Visor Platinum provides a more responsive experience.
