At what level should batteries be changed?


The unit will start nagging you at 10% - change the batteries soon after.

It depends on the battery type.

Standard alkalines warn at 2.10 volts (10%) and the "critical" level is 1.60 volts. Change the batteries soon after the unit starts nagging you.

If you are using NiMh, recharge them when the voltage is around 2.26V. "Critical" for NiMh is 1.90.
