Acer licenses Palm OS

Palm announced today that Acer has licensed the Palm operating system (OS) for use in an upcoming Mobile Device, which is expected later this year.

Acer joins PalmOS licensees such as Handspring, Sony, and Handera in their efforts to bring handheld computers to the masses. Welcome Acer, and good luck! You'll need it in this competitive market.
