InfoBeam Module in early 2000

Tue Sep 14, 1999 - 11:30 PM EDT - By James Hromadka

JP Systems will be introducing an InfoBeam module for the Handspring Visor in early 2000. This will allow the Visor to transmit messages over CDMA and GSM networks.

JP Systems is providing most of the technology for OpenSky, which is a wireless internet service that offers a flat-rate as opposed to Palm.net which currently does not.
