VC-News: New discussion board
After a couple of days of testing and integration we have now enabled the new discussion system here at VisorCentral.
The new system is based on php3/mysql, which makes it possible for us to use the existing username/passwords database throughout the whole site for new exciting services - like a customizable front page, free e-mail addresses etc.
Below is a short summary of new features:
- Ability to view currently active users
- New fast search engine
- Ability to use images in signatures
- "Blue Arrow" takes you directly to latest thread and post
- Ability to preview Posts
- Top Posters list etc.
- Ability to use a headline for each post
- Print friendly pages
And much much more...
All users who entered image links in the old location field - please move them to your signature field. Click on Profile to edit your profile.
A big thank you to all readers who e-mailed us suggestions on how to improve the system, especially Martin, James, and Marsha.
