Tue Mar 26, 2002 - 4:12 PM EST - By Michael Ducker Handspring sent out a notice to customers today telling them that effective April 2nd, the Treo without a service agreement will be $599. That is a $50 price increase from the previous $549. This only affects the Treo 180, and Treo 180g. This is NOT as we have previously speculated due to a componant shortage. Handspring tells us they are doing this to give retailers more flexibility. Previously they have (of course) only been selling through their webstore.
