THE "Must-Have" Accessory for the Visor |
The Stowaway keyboard should be on every serious Visor user's short list of things they cannot be without. The only quirky thing I've discovered is that the keyboard software doesn't work when stored on my 8MB Memory Module. In an effort to conserve space I typically store my apps on the module and leave the data files on the handheld, but this software doesn't like to read from the module. Oh well, it's only 26K and it works flawlessly from the handheld, so I guess it's no big deal. A great product that I would recommend highly.

Best Choice |
I tried the LandWare GoType! keyboard before buying the Targus Stowaway. IMHO the Stowaway is superior for several reasons. First and foremost, it's full-sized keys make typing easy and accurate, particularly compared to the minature GoType! It's also easier to throw in my briefcase, folding to about the size of a PDA (it fits in a standard PDA leather case). Docking is a bit tricky at first but I mastered it after a few tries. It's ingeniously enginered and well made even though the folding design makes it seem a bit flimsy. However, I do have some concerns about the plastic prongs on the docking connector. Only time will tell on that issue. Fortunately, it comes with a one-year warranty. My only gripe is that it unlike the competition, doesn't include extra software such as a word processor (although it works well with all the other programs I have).

great for taking notes |
great for taking notes in meetings and inspiring jealousy;
sometimes a little tricky to dock the Visor though.

Absolutely Wonderful |
A bit flimsy, but well worth it. Plus it has that "Wow" factor, which can be priceless

works like a charm |
Only downside is you can't use it in conjunction with a sb modem.

The ONLY option for a portable Visor keyboard! |
Can't help but repeat the mass concensus: just about the best add-on product idea ever conceived. If you do any lengthy notetaking or composition on the Visor at all, this gem will pay for itself within a single use.

Like it! |
Its a little flimsy when unfolded, likewise, the area that provides support for docking the visor could be beefed up. I found it flexing the visor and keyboard a lot when doing any stylus maneuvers. Hard to do any stylus work with this setup, BUT, the keyboard does a fine job for what it is. Could use another FN (FUNCTION) key on the right-side of the keyboard to allow single-hand Visor MENU manipulations. I no longer need to carry my laptop with this gadget. I now carry everthing with me in a small old
leather IOMEGA Jaz cart case(w/strap). Buy it!

Essential and sooo cool |
I bought it on sight - and I haven't stopped using it since. It can be improved - a Hotsync pass thru, software installed when you plug it in, and for the money it should come with a decent word processor - SmartDoc will do but at additional cost.
