company can't get rid of it fast enough
BEWARE: this item is cheaply made & poorly engineered; battery packs barely fit in charger, not to mention the Visor; both battery packs arrived with visible corrosion, and only one would hold a charge; the company (via Yahoo shopping) charged me $39.95 instead of the advertised "sale" price of $19.95; all attempts to contact the company and return the item have been fruitless. Need any more warnings?

nice price, but kinda clunky
judging by the description and the price (twenty bucks) this sounds like a teriffic product. the execution, however is a bit clunky. first off, this cradle is both a serial and a USB device. the bad news is that the cable atttached to the cradle is serial. USB connectivity is accomplished by a standard USB port on the right side of the cradle. this means that if you require USB, you also have to contend with an extra serial cable that dangles from the back of the cradle. also, having a USB cable sticking out of the side of the cradle makes for an awkward arragements on your desk. another minus in my estimation is the fact that this thing has a frickin wall-wart. the rechargable cells are not powered by the USB power, but rather by an AC adapter. all the complaints aside, it does it it claims to do... it recharges the battery packs, and it's a cradle. only one of the two battery packs included with mine actually work, however. i'm sure that they will exchange it, but its kinda disappointing. i'd have paid $50 for a better-made item.

I like the idea
This looks like a very stable item. When I say that I mean that you dont have to worry about it falling over when its recharging.
