Too expensive... |
Like others before me, if this were a $99 board, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Way too much $$$ for an unexpandable module. Oh...MAC IS DEAD!

Sounds great, works great, well made |
I was able to get a pretty sweet deal at Staples.com using a coupon in addition to the mail in rebate that come with the unit (expires 1/31/01).
The unit comes in a nice package including a case for the module and earphones. It sounds simply awesome, and loads all 64 megs in less than 4 minutes.
I whole heartedly recommend this springboard.

Definitely a nice product. |
I have not tried innogear's minijam but my first impressions of the soundsgood are quite complimentary. Easy file transfer, easy operation, compact size... You've heard it all before. Buy it. Try it. Return it if you don't like it.

Sold on soundsgood |
From what i've read it all comes down to personal preference.Weigh the pros and cons and decide what your preferences are and then jump in.There are plenty of reviews online which detail everything you need to know to form a decision.I guess what finally sold me was the soundsgood was available at the local staples with a $20 rebate.I have only had it a short time but am very pleased with my purchase. This is an excellent product and I can't miss with it for my needs.

Definately A Good Product, If With A Few Flaws |
I got my SoundsGood for Christmas, and would definately recommend it to anyone who is deciding between the MiniJam and SG. There's the transfer connection (250k/sec), the sleek size (standard springboard), the portability (energy clip), and excellent battery life (10 hrs-I've tried it, it works)
On the down side, the software is a bit crash prone, it doesn't have mac support, and the memory's not expandable. BUT-MiniJam suffers from bugs too, if you have a mac u don't have a choice, and who wants to spend $80 on 30 extra minutes of songs if the batteries won't hold out that long, and it takes almost that long to upload the songs anyway.
Good all the way baby!

Works with the Mac, sort of... |
Wel, it actually will work with your mac if you have Virtual PC/Win98 installed on your machine. I got one of these thingies for Xmas from my wife and after reading about the MiniJam problems, I decided to try to make it work on the mac anyhow.
TO make a long story short, it is worth it if you are OK with Virtual PC, it still loads as quickly as it would on a regular PC, which beats the pants off the MiniJam.
Plus, tech support is awesome from Good, they encouraged me to try to make it work and even though they don't have Mac software for it, they are quite cool. I have posted a How-To in the Springboards discussion group for those who dare to try to use it on the Mac....
PLEASE Good, write mac drivers!

Great Product |
The only problem with it is expandablity. But the transfer rate is awesome.

Elegant and Fast... |
I've played with MiniJam and SoundsGood and the SoundsGood wins, hands down. Innogear's choice to use MMC cards in the MiniJam means that the limited bus can only transfer music in at an appallingly slow rate. SoundsGood is ULTRA fast in comparison! My only gripe? The memory isn't expandable, but I seem to get 15 songs on there on average, which I can live with...
