STUPID PRODUCT....MiniJam is A LOT BETTER! Compare the two then make he decision! I decided on MiniJam, and I am confident that I made the right choice! And checm out the cool accessories InnoGear just released! Really cool!

Nice interface, nice desktop app |
Hats off to good.com, really nice product, good battery life, slim design 64MB is better then fumbling with smaller cards (I had an IJAM w/16MB cards which sucked.) Good d/l speed with nice desktop app. Now we just need audio avantgo (with NPR, jam of the day, etc.)

No Mac, SoundsBad |
First of all. I wouldn't spend $200 + dollars on an mp3 player. I'll stick with my MD player which is more versatile IMHO. But, this company gets a big thumbs down for ignoring the Mac users (Especially since Handspring is a very Mac friendly company). I know there are those ignorant people left out there that think Macs are dead or only for graphic arts but the facts are that Apple is one of the fasted growing computer companies at this point with computers which have become wildly popular among all types of users. It's time companies start to pay attention to the facts that they WILL make money by catering to the Mac community. BTW, I used to use windoze based boxes till I saw the light.
That's just my opinion.

Oh hell yeah! |
Why I'm choosing the SoundsGood over the MiniJam:
SPEED: 2 minutes for a 4 MB file? I might as well go back to recording with my MiniDisc recorder. The SoundsGood is just LIGHTNING quick at file transfers.
FORM-FACTOR: Doesn't change the size/shape of my Visor at all, so virtually every case will still work perfectly.
TCO/ROI: 64 MB is perfect for my commute. The cost of flash memory cards is CRAZY compared to the return in functionality. $100 for an hour more of music? Go get a MiniDisc player; a 74-minute blank costs $2. That is the real TCO leader for portable digital audio.

I haven't used the product... |
but it seams as if almost all of the MiniJam users are happy with the MiniJam, yet there are mixed feelings here. I think I am going to go with the MiniJam (that has been my deciding factor!)
What are your opinions on the matter?
