Small but useless for $$$ |
Sure, it's a nice form factor, BUT I don't want it sucking up the slot for just MP3's. And what the heck are they doing by leaving out Mac support?!!!

I'd get this in a heartbeat if it
were $100 cheaper. Even the
EnergyClip seems way too expensive
at $39.99. Maybe once the memory
shortage that has been affecting
the mobile industry subsides, the
price will come down.

Most SBs should probably be $99. I don't fault the mfgs. for starting off at a high price - cause you can only go down from there.
I'll wait.
But this & MiniJam are great feats of tech, in a pretty short span of time. So, I guess they 'expect to be paid' for it.

too expensive, no Mac support |
Why would they set such a high price, make it non-expandable, and not bother with the huge portion of the PDA marketshare which are Mac users? Who knows, but I can't help but feel that the dedicated MP3 device market is way overpriced. Certainly size/form-factor is attractive, but when a CD Discman style MP3 player which can handle FAAAAR more music is less than 1/2 the price why would one bother?

I am a Mac user, I guess they don't want my money. Will probably get a RIO MP3 player now, I was waiting for a springboard MP3 player like this, but I guess not. :(
