Previous ShockSuit Model Much Better
We are a delivery company using Visors with thr Momentum barcode scanner module to scan barcode labels at the delivery point. The old ShockSuit worked fine for us; you could get to the buttons and Graffiti area without removing it from the case and the scanner module was totally visible, enabling a scan without taking the Visor out of the case. When we went to RhinoSkin to order some more, we saw that it had been replaced by this new "improved" model which retained all the best features of the previous one. Well, the one feature they didn't retain was for the scanner; the Springboard module slot in this new case is completely covered making it impossible to use the scanner without taking the Visor out of the case. Also in general it didn't feel as ergonomic as the first one. The new case is unusable for our purposes; they should have left well enough alone.

Unimpressive: bulky, awkward, inefficient & cheap
I just got this case today and I\'m sending it back. I prefer Handspring\'s slip cover which came with my VPL. The fair value of this case is maybe $10. The PDA is held in the shell by the standard velcro/sticky pad surface as well as 2 stretchy straps across the bottom and top of the PDA. I suppose the straps are there to keep the PDA more secure to the shell. I bet if you dropped it with out the straps the PDA would loosen from the velcro and bounce around inside the case. (The cover of the case does not fit snugly against the PDA.) The design is poor. No hotsync, IR or stylus access since the PDA is recessed into the bottom half of the shell. You can snap two styli inside the top cover of the shell, but insertion and removal is awkward. Removal/Insertion of the PDA itself is also awkward given the 2 straps. The shell is like a really hard egg carton. If you stepped on it a couple of times it would surely crack. I cannot imagine that the very thin hinge would last long at all. It has the standard belt clip, but I hate belt clips. My signficant other did not like the case either. It was too big to fit in her purse. The only thing I liked was the snap button strap to close the case. Don\'t pay $30 for this case.
