good for the price |
i wanted something to protect my prism without having to worry about stowing away the lid during use. this fits the bill. small enough investment to eat the cost until the form fitting model comes out.

my clip is flawed |
My clip was either bent or molded improperly, and won't stay on my Visor. To make things worse, tactilis won't reply to my emails. I tried using glue to hold down the bend in the clip, and even still the clip came off after I opened the cover a few times. I think the product may be good overall, but I got shafted.

Affordable and USEFULL! |
Wow! I am surprised at how nice this is. The Flip-Clip was made for the Visor and looks that way, I LOVE IT! The clear is REALLY CLEAR! I barly notice it's there. The Cover is nice, ut I can't wait for the Lid

Cover doesn't fit very well |
Here's a good idea that's not quite right. The Flip clip is good but the curvature of the cover doesn't quite fit so the overall fit doesn't quite make it.

Buy It.. No more Palm flip lid-envy |
The original Handspring clip cover is alright, but I wanted a flip lid like the Palm guys... Finally we have it and it fits well on my Blue VDx with an Ice Lid.

Good for now, waiting for other lid. |
I like the function of the clip and cover, and am looking forward to the Visor-specific cover. The only complaint I have is that the plastic does not seem as strong as the plastic on the OEM cover that came with my Visor. It's compartively flimsy. That being said, Handspring should have had something more like the Tactilis cover than the current cover sold with the Visors.

Now or later? |
First, I recommend a good fitting, protective case over any plastic lid (Palm or Visor). That having been said, the Tactilis Flip-Clip is better than the lid that comes with the Visor. It is hard to complain about a Palm-style lid not fitting properly when Tactilis explains that this lid is to serve only until the proper Visor lid is available. The review on this site and elsewhere explain this even more clearly. If you want something that fits like OEM equipment then stick with the lid that came with your Visor or wait for the next Tactilis lid. Whether Tactilis should have waited for the final Visor-style lid to be ready before releasing the product could be argued forever. The point is that the Flip-Clip is a good replacement lid for the money and pretty much does what it claims.

Excellent for the price |
Mine fits perfectly (it doesn't click as the manual says). So far, I don't have flip-lid closing problem. Needs to see if the joints resist against wearing.

Wonderful! (need slight mod for Visorphone) |
I am very happy with the flip-clip and cover. It took me about 15 minutes with a pocket knife an a multitool to make the minor mods (a bit of sanding too). I had to cut back the chamfered corners on the top of the the flip clip to allow it slide all the way down onto the visor, around the phone module. I also had to cut back the upper edge of the cover (between the pins that attach to the flip clip). The buttons on the visorphone were depressed when the cover was fully open. It also blocked the speaker. A bit of sanding to clean it up, and it now looks and works great!
