Visor Edge Pen Stylus

Designed specially for the Visor Edge handheld, this stylus works as a ballpoint pen and stylus in one.
Switch easily between the ballpoint pen and stylus function with the push of a button. Pen refills are standard 66mm by 2.26mm cartridges. This metal pen/stylus works with the Visor Edge only and comes with a reset pin.

Stick to the original stylus |
It is bulkier than the stock stylus which detracts from the overall slimness of the Edge. It has a very cheap feel for something that cost as much as it did. Less expensive stylii have much better feel than this one. Stylus is of such cheap plastic that it bends under light pressure. I drilled the stylus tip out and replaced it with the tip from another stylus I had and with the help of a little super glue. With this adjustment, I was content for a few more weeks until the plastic clip holder wore out to where the pen was falling off in my pants pocket, or worse yet, went flying whenever I took it out of my pocket. Handspring should be embarrassed to have let this even go to market. Save your money. Stick with the original. Pray that someone else comes up with a better replacement stylus for the edge!

Good Idea, Cheap Execution |
Just what I wanted, a replacement for the hard-to-grip Edge stylus, with an emergency pen to boot. Unfortuately it feels cheap, the writing end wobbles, and the attachment clip (which is the coolest part of the stock stylus) is so poorly made out of disposable plastic that after a few weeks I couldn\'t get my Visor into or out of my pocket without the stylus popping off. I\'ve returned to using the standard Edge stylus, and I can\'t recommend this stylus until they at least fix the clip.
