Great PDA Intro |
This is my first PDA and am glad I got it. have had it 6 weeks now and my productivity at work has increased immensely. 8MB RAM on my Ice VDx is a real luxury!

Absolutely Love It! |

Excellent PDA |
Pros: USB Syncing & 8MB Ram Stnd (excellent AVANT GO pda), Springboard port (waiting for the killer SpringBoard Module - see my wish below), Great overall Palm PDA
Cons: Stnd AAA Batteries (needs rechargeable battery), OS is NOT Flash-Rom upgradable (purely ROM based).

1 Week Delivery...AWESOME!! |
I had read all of the reviews about slow delivery
and poor customer service. That was not my experience
at all!! I ordered my Visor Deluxe on Dec. 27th and
got it January 3rd. Just one week. It works wonderfully
and has made ALL of the other "PALM" Flunkies in my office jealous.

The Best Deal around... |
I love hotsyncing over USB, because I don't have to worry about any more of those damn serial switch boxes! ;) you also can't beat the amount of features it gives for the price. Sold my PalmV/Modem to get one, because the Springboard slot will allow the SIX PAK to be in at all times without adding a lot of bulk (read: PalmV Modem) to the unit. The only thing I qould change is the up/down hardware butotns, they should be concave like the PalmV's. But, An All around Great product!

It was worth the wait for my IVD. Main concern is power consumption and true compatibility with third-party programs, but it's not a show-stopper. Good deal.

My 5th Palm is a Visor Deluxe |
This is my 5th palm top computer - the Visor is by far the best I've used. Everything is much improved over 3com models - the USB provides highspeed sync's - using AvantGo this is really helpful. The screen is excellent and the quality is fine. Really looking forward to future springboard options.
