 | Awesome for my first PDA |
    | Although I don't like the cover and the lack of any "real" manual I really like the Visor Deluxe. It has plenty of memory and lots of potential. I hope it is a sign of things to come!! by

 | Success Story |
    | I ordered my Visor Deluxe on 12/26
and was downloading to it by noon
on 12/30. I think the Visor is every bit as solid as a Palm. It is fast, looks sharp, and packs alot of RAM for $250! by

 | Great product/price, except ... |
    | ... for the lousy customer service and delivery times.
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who needed a lot of tech support hand holding.
But for me, the price and capacity are worth the hassle. by

 | Perfect for the college student |
    | I've always wanted a palmpilot but it has always been too expensive for me to buy. Thanks to Handspring, i got what i wanted, and it doesn't have that formal executive look! by

 | Fast synch, much promise, minor gripes |
    | The bottom line with my newly acquired Visor Deluxe is that after a couple of years with a Pilot 5000 and serial cradles, the USB hotsync is worth the upgrade in and of itself. I'm synching on a Mac at work and home, and the whole process takes moments instead of minutes. The unit itself is fast, overflowing with memory, and sports a wonderfully sharp screen. A couple of gripes: the battery cover and springboard cover both feel a little loose, and the stylus that came with it was shoddily banged out of a mold which resulted in screen scratching plastic tags. Not a big deal, but a bit annoying, no doubt the result of a furious push to keep up with demand. Also, the backlighting issue cannot be ignored; the inverse backlighting is a complete waste of time in dim-light situations. A backlighting toggle button or command would have been a welcome addition.
All in all, however, with even the possibility of springboards on the horizon and the aforementioned fast USB hotsynch, this is a superior unit to anything Palm is producing. by

 | Didn't even have to wait |
    | My Visor arrived in 3 weeks. Having been a pilot 5000 user, I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the Visor and the functionality. Just hope those springboards arrive soon. by

 | My first PDA - It's great! |
    | I was surprised to receive my GVD in just 3 weeks! It's going to be fun loading it up with data and learning about other cool apps available. by

 | It is a toy - not very solid at all... |
    | That's the way I see it, my blue one just feels shoddy. I've never had a Palm device before but this thing is a piece of crap. I think this is just a poor man's Palm Pilot. by

 | Came right on time |
    | Order the Visor Deluxe one day seemed to come the next. I forgot about it almost then it showed up. My guess is it took 3-4 weeks to be delivered. Happy with it so far. by
