Too small, too expensive |
If this were a 64MB module for the price, it would be a good deal. At 16MB with the price equal to a 128MB SmartMedia, it's just not priced right. I recognize the additional functionality provided by automove, but that doesn't seem worth the price difference.

Cool! |
Cool.. Stores all my spreadsheets,
games, dictionary, bible, games,
more games and pictures etc..
Just have to test all new apps to
see if it crashes the memory module

Excellent Storage Solution |
This product have solve my needs flawlessly in storing large palm documents files. The only thing I have a negative mark on is can companies that produces these modules engrave the product information on the plastic casing instead of using a sticker label?

Step in the right direction |
the hagiwara 16mb Flash Module is a step in the right direction. I, along with many other people that I have seen, see that the CF solutions are not really a solution to the shortage in RAM. I do not want a disk drive to carry around with me, I have a disk drive at my house! No, what I want is a device that when I turn it on I can access the information quickly without having to move it over. True CompactFlash would be more appealing with an automover, but the fastest storage system is going to be additional RAM that you can acces in a few seconds instead of having to wait for it to move. For a solution like this, a reasonable increase in price is not an issue. I think if Hagiwara wants to be a serious player the most important next step is to add the support for datafiles, making this the solution over portable disk drives. :-)

Schwing!!!!! |
If you've maxed out your 8mb springboard, the 16mb is must have upgrade. Same funcionality of the 8mb but twice the size.

CF still flawed without automove |
CF isn't a solution unless you have an automover. CF really needs the ability for apps to run on the CF Card otherwise no matter how large the CF card, the app is bound by the space left on your handheld.
