DBnow by Pocket Express

Portable database management becomes more powerful and simple to use with Pocket Express's dbNow. Plug it into any Handspring Visor handheld and begin to manage your data with ease. You can create your own database or choose from a variety of database templates. You can also import and export data created in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Access to create the right report or presentation.

A single program is used between your desktop, laptop, and handheld to enhance mobile productivity. No need to worry about special commands or which information is most up-to-date, because dbNow syncs up information automatically by making record-by-record comparisons to prevent duplicate data entry and replacement of new information by older versions. It's also easy for you to share your databases with other users, a plus for team projects and client lists.

Also included are 10 useful database references, including business terms, U.S. area codes, international calling codes, U.S. airport abbreviations, U.S. presidents, nutritional information about 900 foods, 100 drink recipes, and 240 U.S. and world state capitals.

Jfile is better
Just bought this program, and am disappointed. SHould have done more testing first. you cant create DB'S from the handheld. You cant edit the forms from the handheld. You cannot make queries from the handheld. You can only make simple searchs. $49.99 is way to much for this program. Shareware Database programs are more developed that DBNow. The desktop program is easy to use. Is also easy to create a new db from the desktop. To bad this feature does not carry over to the handheld. Although you make make yourqueries through MSAccess, synchronization is poorly handled. Also there are no query feature on the handheld program. My suggestion is buy Jfile, or HandBase. Suggestion to dbNow is go back to the drawing board,
