The business that you in! |
I have just purchased the eyemodule in Singapore through the net.
It has proved good for taking closeup shots and if you are in the business of getting sample shots, this is a great device.
I was in Vietnam, and was able to get a number of smaple shots of products for someone else.

Oh yeah, one more thing... |
For the folks who say, "Well, it's for the times when I needed a camera and didn't have one." Or "It's just fun". Well, for times I needed a camera, I wished for my 35MM Minolta, not a cruddy Polaroid. And as for fun, for 150 bucks, I would only be having QUALITY fun. Don't forget - A quality Springboard is very likely to be just as portable as one that falls short. Sorry if I skewed the poll results by submitting twice, but I swear SOME of the posts seem like their coming from biased sources, if you know what I mean...

Cut the jokes; lay on the quality products! |
Considering the potential of the Visor when used in conjunction with QUALITY springboards, this camera is not worth it. I believe that those of us who own Visors AND have a serious desire to own a great, feature rich digital camera would like to see a better answer than the IDEO on the market even if the price is slightly higher. The way I see it, we invested in our Visors and we don't want to go spend money for a stand-alone digital camera. We want a quality Springboard that is all that and a bag of chips! I assure the company who produces this will get my business and recommendations to my Visor-owning bretheren!

it's a digital Instamatic |
Knew it wasn't going to give the quality my CoolPix 950 does but for a quick shot of certain events, it's fine. There are times when you really need a camera-now you've always got one.

Not worth it |
I waited eagerly for this to come out and it definetly is not worth the price. Whatever coolness factor it has does not beat out the horrible quality of the pictures. The pics on their webpage are way better than the ones I've produced

Cute, but not worth it. |
Sorry - this is going to be sent back before the 30 period is up. For $150+ the picture quality is just too low. It's amazingly tiny, but they should have made the module a little larger and increased the quality of the image ouput. A disappointment.

Understated Fun |
Sure, its not a high end digital camera, but its sooooo much fun! I love this camera and its opens a new form or art. Its very convenient to have if you need to take a quick pic.

Picture quality is really bad |
I've been waiting for this product to arrive for a while. I thought it would be better than my 4 year B&W QuikCam, that I had connected to my PC, but it's not. I think IDEO should have done a better job or released for $20 instead of $150.

Not worth the price |
Lets not be overwhelmed by the first actual springboard module to come out.
I too could not wait for this product to come out. Sadly it has not lived up to its
hype. First, yes you can not compare it to a real digital camera, but at the same time,
their is really no reason why a company can try to sell a product that really has no real
purpose, but to as put it "cool factor" someone. Lets not be taken in by an average to very
low product, just because it fits the visor springboard and at this time, their's nothing better
to put in it. Sorry. I wanted it to be better.
I'm interested to see if the Kodak digital camera for the Palm is any better and if they plan on making
one for the Visor.
Pose this question to yourself... Would you buy a cheaper car and not expect it to run correctly? and forgive it if it ran bad just because it was cheaper in price. (No you would expect it to run correctly.) Then why would
you buy a digital camera module cheap and forgive it for being bad just because it happened to be low in price and posed an ill fated "cool factor". Explain that.
